Diabetes Manager University (DMU)
Diabetes Management and Training Centers, Inc. is now accepting registrations for
the Spring 2008 offering of Diabetes Manager University (DMU).
The DMU is a 3-day master course in how and why to use today's best diabetes therapies
in a patient-centered, outcomes-oriented model of care. Instructors Kris Swenson,
RN, CDE and Betty Brackenridge, MS, RD, CDE have designed this course to include
- Clinical and behavioral care
- Selection and titration of today's medication choices
- Nutrition approaches that patients actually USE
- The power, process and tools of Discovering Learning that unlock motivation

April 30 - May 2
8:30AM - 4:30PM
An optional half-day on program planning is available to course registrants on Saturday,
May 3.

This continuing education activity has been approved for 23 continuing
education units by the Arizona Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the
American Nurses' Credentialing Centers' Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). ANCC
credits are accepted by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
